Hellsinki Metal Festival has secured its place among the city’s great event offerings. This outdoor festival, held for the third time, will take place in the Helsinki Ice Hall area on Nordenskiöldinkatu, more commonly known as Nordis.

Tickets for Hellsinki Metal Festival are sold by Ticketmaster, Lippu.fi and Tiketti.
TICKET CATEGORIES
2-day regular ticket
– To be exchanged for a wristband. Free access through the festival area gates, allowing you to leave and re-enter freely during festival opening hours, except for the last hour of the festival.
R.I.P. tickets (Really Important Person)
– 2-day R.I.P. ticket
– To be exchanged for a wristband
The R.I.P. (Really Important Person) ticket includes:
– Exclusive “Gates of Hell” entrance
– Access to the Necropolis area
– R.I.P. bar
– 1 hot meal per festival day
– R.I.P. restrooms
– Hellsinki Metal Festival R.I.P. pass, lanyard, and wristband
– Large covered hangout area

All common payment methods are accepted at ticket vendors, including online banking, card payments, Mobile Pay, PayPal, invoicing, gift cards, and cultural benefits.
At Ticketmaster’s online store, only the Edenred cultural benefit is currently accepted. You can pay with Epassi and other similar cultural benefits at Ticketmaster’s physical outlets: https://www.ticketmaster.fi/help/Outlets/
Festival area and arrival
HELLSINKI METAL FESTIVAL is held at the Helsinki Ice Hall area on Nordenskiöldinkatu, commonly known as Nordis.
A detailed area map with services will be announced closer to the event.
There are three stages in the festival area.
Arrival
There is no dedicated parking for the festival, and parking spaces in the surrounding area are limited, so we recommend arriving by public transportation or on foot. Töölö has narrow sidewalks and busy traffic, so please allow plenty of time to reach the festival area and follow traffic rules.
Wristband Exchange & Accreditation
Instructions for pre-exchanging wristbands and accreditation will be provided closer to the event. Wristbands must be collected with a valid ID. Please note that wristbands will be attached directly to the wrist upon collection.
Cloakroom
There will be a cloakroom at the festival entrance where you can store your belongings during the festival’s opening hours.
Water Stations
Water stations are available in the outdoor area near the RIP area and the food world, as well as next to the entrance of the ice hall. You can also easily refill your water bottle in the restrooms inside the ice hall.
Payment Methods
Card payments and cash are accepted at the festival area. In the food world, only card payments are accepted. There are deposit and cash points at the bar tents. We recommend contactless payment.
R.I.P. Necropolis area
Experience the ultimate metal festival with the unique Necropolis area! The ticket includes, among other things, an exclusive festival entrance, your own bar, and restrooms. You also get 1 hot meal per day. Enjoy the exclusive area with a direct view of the main stage. In the covered space, you can rest your legs between gigs while enjoying a refreshing drink or even a relaxing massage.

In the depths of the festival area lies a realm not for the faint-hearted. It calls to those with a relentless passion for all things heavy. In this enigmatic expo area, you’ll encounter countless experiences that defy tradition and take you on a journey through the shadows of the metal world. Here, the spirit of rebellion and raw power intertwine, igniting your senses and fueling your imagination. You’ll witness the craftsmanship of artisans as they breathe life into their dark visions, where each creation embodies the spirit of metal.
Let the music guide you as you wander through the Brutal Bazaar. Immerse yourself in the symphony surrounding you, where the thunder of guitars, pounding drums, and vocal melodies blend into harmonious chaos. The Brutal Bazaar captures the true essence of metal, offering a platform for expression, creativity, and the celebration of the extraordinary. It’s a place where artists, artisans, and fans meet, forming a community bound by their shared love of all things metal.

Security
Any form of bullying, violence, or hate speech is not welcome at Hellsinki Metal Festival. If you feel unsafe at the festival or witness inappropriate behavior, please report it to the nearest security guard. We want to provide everyone with a positive and friendly environment, which is why we have zero tolerance for such actions.
SECURITY CHECK
Security guards will conduct security checks at the entrance. All festival-goers must pass through a security check when entering through the festival gates. All bags will be inspected before entry to the festival area.
Permitted items:
• Empty 0.5l clear plastic water bottle (no glass)
• Backpacks and bags, max capacity of 18 liters
• Cameras (max. 70mm lens)
• GoPro
• Medicines (with a prescription)
• Chocolate bars or similar for justified reasons
• Sunscreen
• Binoculars
• Makeup
• Hand sanitizer (max 100 ml)
Prohibited items:
• DSLR cameras (over 70mm lens)
• Laptops, tablets

• Selfie sticks / camera tripods

Additionally, the distribution of posters and flyers, as well as crowd surfing, is prohibited in the festival area.
Security guards have the right to also prohibit any other item they deem necessary.
FIRST AID
Hellsinki Metal Festival is prepared for accidents and minor injuries. The festival area will have a comprehensive first aid point and skilled first aid personnel. You can find the first aid point on the festival map, which will be published closer to the event. The festival’s first aid team can treat minor injuries on-site and provide emergency care within the festival area. If you need help, approach any festival staff member, first aid worker, or security personnel. The exact location of the first aid point will be published on the map closer to the event.
