HELLSINKI METAL FESTIVAL takes place at the Helsinki Ice Hall area on Nordenskiöldinkatu — or simply Nordis, as locals know it.

A detailed area map with on-site services will be announced closer to the event.

The festival area features three stages.

Arrival

There is no dedicated parking area for the festival, and parking nearby is very limited. We therefore recommend arriving by public transport or on foot. Töölö has narrow sidewalks and busy traffic, so please allow enough time to reach the venue and follow local traffic regulations.

Cloakroom

A cloakroom will be located near the festival entrance, where you can leave your belongings during the festival’s opening hours.

Water points

There will be a water station in the outdoor area, near the R.I.P. area and food court, next to the Ice Hall entrance. You can also easily refill your water bottle inside the Ice Hall restrooms.

Payment methods

Accepted payment methods on the festival site are card and cash.
In the food court and specialty drink areas, only card payments are accepted.
Contactless payment is recommended.

Experience the ultimate metal weekend in the exclusive R.I.P. area!
Your ticket includes a dedicated festival entrance, access to a private bar and restrooms, and one hot meal per day. Enjoy an exclusive area with a direct view of the main stage. The covered lounge area offers a perfect spot to relax between shows with a refreshing drink — or even unwind with a relaxing massage.
