In addition to traditional band instruments, Numento has brought Finland’s national instrument, the kantele, into a new realm of use — and the kantele roars with distortion on the band’s latest single, The Extortionist.
Last year, Numento won the Finnish Wacken Metal Battle competition, and the band’s music has been heard not only on stages but also on the Osu! Beatmap gaming platform.
So far, the band has released three albums during their career, the latest of which, The Antimatter Fantasy (2024), received highly acclaimed reviews.
