Attentive fans of Hellsinki Metal Festival, who recently got a glimpse of the day-by-day schedules, may have noticed an open slot on Saturday – and they were right. That final spot has now been filled, as Swiss metal act Eluveitie confirms its appearance at this year’s festival!

Blending folk metal and melodic death metal with exceptional skill, Eluveitie released their latest album Ànv last spring. The impressive eight-member band has been touring extensively around the world since the album’s release, and was last seen in Finland at the end of last year as part of Arch Enemy’s European tour.

Hellsinki Metal Festival will take over the entire Helsinki Ice Hall area on August 7–8. Festival goers will also get to enjoy the event’s very own signature beer. Brewed by local Fat Lizard Brewing Co., Brutal Fu**ing Lager is a light-bodied, aromatic, and refreshingly crisp American-style lager.
