Heavy Metal Perse (HMP) is a Finnish power metal band formed in Kajaani in May 2000. They are among the first to craft power metal lyrics in Finnish, focusing on themes of heroism and war. Their debut album, Eripura, was released in 2008, followed by Aikakirjat in 2012 and Jumalia paossa in 2022. Known for their energetic live performances, HMP has shared stages with acts like Blaze Bayley and Skyclad.
