Dismember is a Swedish death metal band formed in Stockholm in 1988. They are recognized as pioneers of the Swedish death metal scene, standing alongside bands like Entombed, Grave, and Unleashed. Their debut album, Like an Ever Flowing Stream (1991), is considered a milestone in the genre. After disbanding in 2011, Dismember reunited in 2019 with their original lineup and continue to deliver their signature death metal sound.
